IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT,

God called Abraham out of his tent.
He looked up… and there he saw it.
God’s promises written in the stars.
A promise for the generations to come.
A promise for the sons and daughters.
A promise that still lives today.
It is yours. It is mine.
We are THE PEOPLE OF PROMISE.

Sometimes,
I think of Abraham

How one star he saw had been lit for me. For us.
A solitary point in an endless night,
Yet sure with the promise of eternity.

He stood, neck craned,

gazed fixed on what could be.
Each star a declaration, a promise spoken.
By the One who shapes the galaxies.
“Count the stars,” God said.

But how do you count the infinite?
How do you hold a promise that stretches beyond the limits of sight?

The stars told the story of faith,
of humanity called to leave the known,
to step into the unseen, and trust in what only God could give.

The promise of a generational legacy,
Family as countless as the stars.
The promise of blessing and favor,
Overflowing beyond measure in the world where we are
The promise of land and possessions,
An inheritance shaped by the hand of God.

And still, the stars remind us—
Each light a mark of covenant,
A declaration that His word endures,
And an assurance that His promises are secure

We are heirs of this legacy.
Walking with confidence into eternity.
The One who lit the stars has called us by name,
Whispering His promise through the eternal flame.

Sometimes I think of Abraham
Who chose to trust even when he could not see.
To place His faith in the God who created the galaxies. Will we? Will you? choose the same
Will we be the ‘people of Promise’ who bear His name
