WEEK 5: Who's Serving Who

THE BIG IDEA:

The book of Mark shows Jesus as a servant. The ultimate servant King. The truth for you today is that HE IS THE ONE SERVING US. There is nothing we can do to make things right with Him or prove ourselves to Him, He has done it all. Take hold of this today Jesus is still serving us today-right here, right now.

  • THE SERVANT KING

He is serving us. Throughout the book of Mark we see Jesus moving swiftly from one activity to the next. He intently serves humanity throughout HIs life on earth right up to His death, the ultimate act of service.

  • SEEING IT DIFFERENTLY

What would it look like for us to see serving differently? To move from serving from religion to serving from a place fo relationship, rest and grace.

  • SHOULDERING UP

Jesus serves us in a way that is up close and personal. He shoulders the burden so we can live in the blessing of Heaven.

SCRIPTURES:

  • John 1: 16-18 (TPT)
  • Philippians 2: 6-8
  • Mark 10:45
